Hi there I attended the camp in 1975? I can't remember. I only attended for 1 session, but I still have very fond and fun memories of my time there. I remember participating in a theater improv type event and also the "gotcha" of the seventies with flour inside napkins type shots, which you had to aim and throw by hand, you had to be very careful no to drop any flower on you because then the judges may thinkk that you got hit by someone else. I also remember going across the lake in a little 4.5hp motor boat, on a certain day to buy candy, oh what a trip that was, it seemed like 4 hrs. to get there. Also climbing inside the "chimney", it was a rock composed of two walls which you could climb very easy. The Indian pool which I can only remember as being huge, I would like to go and see it now and compare it to my memory, I bet it's not as big. I also remember watching the older campers being able to kayak, while I could not because I was only 8. I remember being in cabin # 1. I did not speak English at the time except for a few politically incorrect words which got me into a lot of trouble on more than one occasion. I also remember that at the time when I attended the son of a Hollywood actor was there and there was a big commotion at the parking lot in LA before we boarder the prairie jet (bus) because this actor was there, his name is George Peppard, I later found out who he was while watching the "A" team. If I can remember all of this today, 30 years after being there, it must have caused a very good impression on my senses, it was fun and I would do it all over again, I guess that’s why I still try to relive it by doing what I learned there whenever I have a chance. All I can say, it was good, very good, after that camp, I was sent to another one, a military one in Indiana, which was very beautiful, but my heart belonged at GAC, I would like to visit just to see what it is like today, we live in Monterey bay now, and although our son is only 2, I’m sure that GAC will be the right place for him.

Best Regards
