What are you looking forward to most? - 2008/02/27 04:39
Hi Campers! This is Sunshine, and I am really getting excited about the summer of 2008. I thought it would be fun for people to share what you're most excited about/most looking forward to about camp this summer. I'll start. I'm looking forward to: campfires water skiing sunsets over Shaver Lake seeing deer eating Sushi's food no more homework What about the rest of you? Can't wait to see you all in June, July, or August! Sunshine

Not counting the delicious food and the activites what im really looking forward to is seeing again Mango and Jobie and most of all being in a cabin with my old friends. I requested them all and im really hoping to be with them since last year i didn't...i can't just call them because we live in two different countrys! So im hoping to be in there cabin. I have a question: if i'm a lion, will i have the possibility of sleeping in a tent instead of a cabin? I hope so because when I went 2 years ago i did and me and my friends got to sleep under the beautiful stars... I know I asked a lot but i really do hope you can can grant my two wishes. Lots of love, Isabel Regoli

Hey Campers!!!
This is Slick!
I saw this post and had to respond. I am really looking forward to SAILING!!! Also, sleeping under the stars, hiking the FACE, early morning activity (yes!), and reading to my girls at night.
I also wanted to respond to a few other posts, too.
Isabel, I saw how you said you'd prefer a tent, but I have to say that I lived in cabin 7 (a wooden cabin) for 2 summers in a row, and I loved it. I guarantee that you will enjoy it too! It is nice and cool during the day, and I loved living in the Quad.
And, Swim200? Did I know you? If this is your last year as a camper, that makes you a lion for the past 2 years. I am a Lions counselor, so I know most of the lions. Who were your counselors?
And, Soccerem, you will undoubtedly meet new people...lots, and as far as trying watersports, you'll get to do that for 2 days straight down at Shaver Island, plus during activity at main camp, during free time, and early morning (the water is like glass in the early morning).
And HEY SUNSHINE!!! Can't wait to get back!
