It's really fun! My first year was last year and i didn't know anyone. All of my friends were to scared to go. None of them can even sleep over, but its the most fun thing ever. What sessin are you going, and how old are you?Im 12 and im going in session 1.

This is Slick, and I am a 3rd year counselor at GAC. I teach Sailing and I have been a Girls Lions (7th-9th grade) Counselor for the last 2 years. Before working at GAC, I had never went to a sleep-away camp as a kid. So, when it was my first year at camp I was a little bit nervous, but it turned out to be the best summer ever. I tried a whole bunch of new things, met a whole bunch of new people, ate some really delicious food, and even got over my fear of heights on the High Ropes course.
GAC is full of so many great campers and staff, and the food is great. Everyday, there is something completely different to do! We also get to have marshmallows or popcorn every night at our cabin campfire (yum) and I learned so many new games, songs, and hobbies (i learned how to crochet!).
I can't wait to meet you! If you have any specific questions, I'd be so happy to answer them. Oh, and did I happen to mention how good the food is?

Ok you will LOVE camp. I have a friend who's 1st year was last year and she LOVED it!! And if you get scared at all don't worry the only time you'll cry is when you leave .. not leave home but camp!! That's what happend to me and my little sister. This is my 3rd year if you are going to session 2 hope to see you!! If not HAVE FUN!!
