Gold Arrow Camp is owned and operated by Audrey and Steve Monke. Together with their experienced leadership staff, they direct Gold Arrow Camp. Audrey is a graduate of Stanford University and a Certified Camp Director through the American Camp Association. She has been at Gold Arrow Camp since 1986. Steve holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree from U.C.L.A. and has been at Camp since 1989. They have a commitment to the development of children and to maintaining the traditions that have made Gold Arrow one of the finest traditional camps in the United States since 1933.

Audrey, who campers and staff call "Sunshine," and Steve, who campers and staff call "Monkey," spend their summers at Gold Arrow Camp with their children. Sunshine and Monkey are on-site directors who interact with campers and staff on a daily basis.

Chelsea Rowe is the Associate Director of Gold Arrow Camp. Chelsea holds a Bachelors Degree from U.C. Davis. Being involved with camp for twenty years, Chelsea has a long history associated with Gold Arrow. Not only was Chelsea a former GAC camper, but her parents were former counselors meeting at Gold Arrow. Now she and her children, Macy and Elliot, spend theirs summers at GAC. Together with her husband, Steve, they spend the rest of the year in southern California. Chelsea , who is called "Chelster" at camp, is committed to the welfare of campers, helping to create summer memories that will last a lifetime.

JJ Osterweil is the Personnel Director for Gold Arrow Camp. She recently graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and African Studies. She has been a part of Gold Arrow Camp, where she is known as Chaos, for 7 years: 3 years as a camper and 4 on staff in a variety of positions. This past summer she was the Head Counselor for the older girls and is excited to be working as Personnel Director. She hopes that every camper has as great an experience as she had.
